Highlights

Highlight #1- La Familia De Esperanza has been blessed with the opportunity to work with moms and students to provide both partner and individualized on-line ESL tutoring. This is an exciting endeavor that we plan to continue to expand upon in the future.

Highlight #2- The Resurrection Egg Give-away was a fun way to share Easter with our La Familia De Esperanza community. These eggs each have an item within them that helps tell a piece of the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We were able to distribute a set of Resurrection eggs to 28 of our families!

Highlight #3- Our La Familia De Esperanza moms are an intrical part of our community, and we were so grateful to be able to provide them with makeup bags filled with: makeup, lotions, facial treatment masks, and handsanitizer. We love our moms and we appreciate all that they do for their families and our community!

Highlight #4- Fatherś Day crafting was a hit with our La Familia De Esperanza kiddos. The kids made their dads cards telling them how much they love them. They were able to pick from various card layouts, stickers, and use all different art mediums. It was great to see how creative all of our kids are!

Highlight #5- Camps, Camps, and more Camps! July was a blast with lots of fun in the sun, and camps to meet all of the interests of our La Familia De Esperanza youth. These camps, also, provided our Moms with a bit of an a.m. break, since our camps were for kiddos ages 3 to 15.

Until Next Time

Thank you for touching base with La Familia De Esperanza and we look forward to sharing more updates in our next quarterly newsletter. Until then, we petition your prayers for each of our families and our community as we continue to grow and further establish the Community that is La Familia De Esperanza.

We will also be updating our blog with posts about our One Year Anniversary celebration, our spectacular summer camps, and our exciting youth and mom book clubs.
